Terms and Conditions

book.events act as an agent for facilitating the sale of Tickets to Events on behalf of Promoters. We therefore enter this agreement on behalf of the Promoters.

Sale of Tickets

Rights to admission for Events are sold in the form etickets which are delivered to you by email.

WE DO NOT POST OUT ACTUAL PHYSICAL TICKETS

Please note - We collect the eTicket money on behalf of the Promoter and supply details of your booking to them. Ownership of the eTickets and rights to grant entry to the Event remains with the Promoter and does not pass to us at any time.

A request by you to purchase eTickets using the booking process on this Website is an offer made subject to these eTicket Purchase Terms. The offer is made when you click the "pay" button on the Basket Page of the Website. Acceptance by us of your offer on behalf of the Promoter shall be deemed to be effective when your debit/credit card details have been cleared and we have confirmed your order.

When you are logged into this Website you may choose the eTickets you wish to purchase and add them to your basket. Please check your purchase carefully before you confirm your purchase and check out by clicking on "pay". At this stage an offer has been made by you to purchase the eTickets selected.

Once you have offered to purchase the eTickets, we will accept your offer and confirm your Booking. We will then charge your debit/credit card with the face value of the Ticket plus a Booking fee. The face value and Booking fee will be clearly itemised in your basket before you confirm your purchase and check out.

We will forward the face value of the eTicket to the Promoter. The Booking fee is the separate charge we make to you for facilitating the Booking.

eTickets are NON refundable unless the event is cancelled or the headline act is unable to perform and in this case only the face value of the Ticket will be refunded. Ticket booking fees are non-refundable.

If an event is re-scheduled, it is not considered cancelled, but the organiser may wish to offer a refund to their customer if they are unable to attend the new date. This is at the discretion of the event organiser. The booking fee will remain non refundable. If you can't attend the re-scheduled date you will have 7 days from the original event date to contact us by email to nick@book.events and request a refund.

We are not able to refund your booking fee in any circumstances, even if an event is cancelled. This is because we have already paid the credit card charges incurred by processing your original order and these charges are non-refundable and we may also incur additional charges in processing the refund of the face value ticket price.

All Band members, set lists and support acts are subject to change and any of these changes will not constitute a refund.

Please keep your eTicket in a safe place as you will be refused entry to the Event without this.

You and all other eTicket holders in your party must comply with all relevant safety announcements and venue regulations whilst attending the Event. There will be no pass-outs or re-admissions of any kind unless permission can be obtained by the promoter on the night.

The right of admission to an Event is reserved by the Promoter and Event venue, who may take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account, and may carry out security searches.

We are unable to offer you a refund if you are refused entry to or ejected from a venue on account of being under age (or appearing to be underage and failing to provide proof of age), declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken, or other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances.

Book.events is only responsible for the non-refundable booking fee. All refund requests and questions regarding the face value of the ticket is the legal responsibility of the promoter or event organiser.

Credit/Debit card chargebacks

If a ticket buyer disputes a transaction and the bank decides in favour of the cardholder, the bank will issue a full refund and this charge will be deducted from the promoter or event organiser's seller account for the full order amount including bank charges. Book.Events is NOT liable for credit or debit card chargebacks they are the legal responsibility of the promoter or event organiser.

Any dispute regarding the content or quality of the Event, or any actions of the Promoter, venue, performers or their representatives is deemed to be between you and the Promoter or the venue.
